This is nature doing her usual rough pruning job. We'll of course be making a better go of it in February when we get the groves ready for 2014 growth.
ReplyDeleteThe other thought I had looking at this is that this is tree is a great example of the work you did in 2013 in getting nutrients to the trees. This much foliage can only be supported by a strong root system -- great to see this in a young grove.
